120m2 APARTMENT DESIGNED FOR RENT
A 120m2 penthouse in a newly built building in Samobor is designed for rent. The client's request was to decorate the apartment in a modern style. The spacious apartment with large terraces provided plenty of light and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
The task was to organize a coat and shoe storage area, as well as the layout and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and living room. The idea was to incorporate as much storage space as possible within the walls and maintain the openness of the walls to emphasize the spaciousness of the apartment. Only the kitchen island stands out in the center of the space as a gathering area for dining and socializing.
Precise drawings were made for the construction of built-in wardrobes, kitchen elements, the island, and cabinets in the bathrooms. High-quality materials such as solid wood, MDF, veneer, and kerrock were used in the interior construction.
Special emphasis was placed on the wall with a straight line connecting the kitchen and the living room spatially. Black and white ceramic tiles of smaller format with a relief surface were chosen for the wall cladding. They were arranged at a distance of one fifth, and by painting the upper cabinets in the same tone, a visual "picture" was created that dominates the entire kitchen and living room area.
The island, with its corpus covered in semi-circular wooden "sticks", airy metal construction, and a compact gray top, creates a central focal point around which various functions take place: dining, socializing, small office tasks, and entertainment.
The color palette used in the apartment is neutral. Gray, white, and black colors prevail to achieve a calm impression, as a base for building a personalized interior with elements that future tenants will bring into the space.
Colors for the walls and furniture fronts were carefully chosen to create a harmonious whole throughout the apartment.
Lighting enhances the atmosphere of the space. Through indirect and directional lighting with designer pieces, specific zones are created and all necessary functions are covered, ensuring a comfortable stay for people in the space.
